Gene Key 36 serves as a reminder of the occasionally severe suffering that must be endured by humans. This hexagram is referred to as the "Darkening of the Light" in the ancient I Ching. In Human Design, it is referred to as the "Gate of Crisis." Most people could find these names menacing or terrifying. It doesn't make normal sense, but rest certain that the sweetest path of them all is the one that leads to the embodiment of compassion, which is the highest goal of this gene key.
Shadow of Turbulence: Dark Night of the Soul
There may be physical, emotional, or mental turbulence. They are all three most frequently. This is essentially all we see when we watch or listen to the news. The tumultuous, communal realm of our planet's shadow frequency includes violence, victimization, wars, conflicts, famine, and death. It goes on and on and on.
As the turmoil grows, most hearts begin to shut down. Repression is a more personalized experience learned response. Give way. Shut down. Or, when feeling overpowered by life, react with fury and blame. There is nothing except suffocating darkness here. It arouses the fear of pain, which is what makes the anxiety feel so overwhelming.
The most crucial aspect of this shadow is to not be afraid of it. We are all given the opportunity to assist someone else through a time of extreme pain known as the "darkening of the light" at some point in our life. We all encounter that, either within oneself or another. And it is in this environment that the 36th gene is intended to prosper for a higher purpose. You become visible when another's light becomes darker.
Gift of Humanity: Spirit Descending
Suffering's sole purpose is to break us apart by design; to penetrate our inner selves and disrupt the habits that divide us. The 36th gift of humanity, however, doesn't crash, freeze, or go off. Continually open. Your heart could jump, but you keep breathing deeply and center yourself in your stomach. You directly address that experience. And you approach it with a heart open with pure light that stays open. You completely let the turbulence enter.
Being overwhelmed is impossible when your heart is open enlightened one. Overwhelm is only a mental and emotional state from your personalized experience. Your soul, however, cannot be overpowered by existence since your entire being operates at a higher energy healing frequency. Pure grace starts to manifest from the highest components. Additionally, human beings are profoundly healed by this openness. They start to open up and express their worst phobias. They start to heal and let go. A healed heart is impervious to harm. The route through the 36th Gift is as follows.
Siddhi of Compassion: Natural Radiance of Pure Human Aura
Our DNA emits a scent known as compassion when our heart's purity is awakened. It is the aroma of our true nature. It smells like Grace. It smells like pure brightness. You will never be able to forget something once you recall it. This is the point at which mankind and God unite. You see, this is why there are difficulties, anguish, and overwhelming feelings. The prize is this. Breathe deeply. When you encounter compassion, you encounter God living inside heart melting people. And you'll observe the only force in the cosmos without a plan of action.
